 I was given a reading by Courtney Lind.  I have known her for years and she is a trusted friend. The Spirit that came through was my Great Grandmother Mama Cuca, Refugia Leal Quintanilla.  Courtney explained that she has been watching over me since my birth. After discussing some spirit messages, Mama Cuca decided it was time to do a drawing.

The outcome was unbelievable!  She drew her as I knew her from the one remaining photo that my family has. The similarity was remarkable right down to the detail of  her dress, earrings, & the photo being "off center."  

It was a comfort to know that I have Mama Cuca standing beside me, gently guiding and watching over my life.

I believe Courtney has a gift to share. She is a wonderful woman who has a loving light that shines from within.

I feel grateful as well as blessed to have had this reading. I know that through Courtney, I can always communicate with Spirit.

I went through my pictures and this is the only photo I have of my Great grandfather on my moms, moms side. His name is Herman Granlund from Finland. He also joined WW2 in 1940. He was born in August maybe why the number 8 came through??  I really enjoyed your reading, it helped me get through this grieving period over my mother.  She was and is a very loving lady as you can tell.. The lady is my aunt Rafaela and the gentleman is my brother in law my sisters husband who passed away about 10 years ago. she was a non believer but I think she believes he's trying to send her a message.

You did this drawing at the event you had with Debbie way back in June.  At that time I thought it might be my grandmother.  However, it's been a good 30 years since she passed and probably 40 years since I last saw her in person. I have probably only five or six pictures of her.  In scanning pictures over the holidays I came across this one of her.  It's a pretty good likeness to your drawing.

I consider my experience with Courtney’s medium abilities amazing!!  I was expecting my 2nd child, a boy, on June 28.  She happened to be in town visiting her sister in PA, and I stopped by to see them after an appointment.  I have only met Courtney a handful of times and she was already having feelings about the baby, and seeing what he would look like and when he was coming.  This was a Thursday afternoon, and she kept telling me she was seeing something about Sunday.  I thought yeah right, it was only June 7th!  She also said he would have lighter hair than my daughter’s, and everything was going to be very peaceful.  Well, wouldn’t you know on June 10, - Sunday morning at 2am, the contractions started.  I was in hardly any pain, as opposed to my first birth experience.  We went to the hospital, where her sister kept her in the loop on my progression. She probably didn’t need to though, because she had already predicted the day my baby would be born, and then she told me he would be born at 7pm.  At 7:02pm, we had our baby boy!!  The nurses and doctors were all intrigued, and kept writing down Courtney’s visions so we could see how spot on she was after he finally arrived.  I had no pain all day, and was in a true state of peace through the entire labor.  She also told us that she could feel the presence of a grandmother who had passed in the room with us.  My husband lost both grandmothers in the past year, something she would never know.  That was of great comfort to my mother in law, to know that they were with us pushing baby Ryan through from the other side.  Also, he has lighter hair than my daughter, and is a bundle of snuggles with his mama just like she said he would be.  I admit I was skeptical at first, but if someone can see the day and time a baby will be born, I am a believer!  Even your doctor can’t tell you that!  I had such a sense of calmness, peace, and excitement, waiting to see if her visions were going to come to fruition.  I had a very difficult pregnancy with a lot of fear about the actual birth of the baby.  We were getting conflicting information from the doctors about when we would deliver for weeks, going back and forth on if I would need a C section, how big the baby would be, etc. which made me a ball of nerves.  I will always hold the experience of seeing Courtney before the delivery very close to me, because I felt prepared knowing he was coming and that everything was going to be fine for the labor.  I really believed that she had seen what was to come, and that I could lay back and await the arrival of my precious son. 

As a side note, the day before my son was 4 weeks old he was admitted to the hospital in a whirlwind for what turned out to be Group B Strep Septicemia, and a blood clot to boot.  We spent 2 weeks in the hospital, a very trying time for my husband and me, and for our whole family.  I was terrified of losing my precious gift.  When Courtney heard some details of what was going on, she messaged me to say that he was going to be fine and was on the mend.  That turned out to be true, and although I still had fear because of the situation, I thought I am going to trust what she said because she has seen my baby and me through the birth already, and was able to have a sense of peace again trusting in her knowing he would make it through.  I am blessed to say he is now 10 weeks old and we are so in love with my little chubby prince!!

You saw my one Grandfather in overalls on a farm with a pitch fork. I talked to my Dad & he said his Dad did live on a farm when he was young- they did shovel hay & he always wore overalls back then.")

You also mentioned you saw all kinds of airplanes . I forgot to tell you that was my Mom's Dad who worked McDonald Douglas making airplanes. Also you saw Indian heritage / Shaman heavily around me. My Mom's great grandmother was pychic & had an Indian spirit guide.

What is a Spirit Guide?

Spirit guides are ascended souls also refereed to as guardian angels. These special spirits are assigned to us before we are born. They gently guide us through our lives, helping us make the right choices for our souls journey.

This section of portraits represent the amazing images of individuals who lost their lives to early. A helicopter crash, a car accident, suicide, cancer, sudden illness and sudden death. These people were aunts and uncles, son's, brothers, sisters, mothers, and fathers. These souls like butterfly's, set everything that was once known aside to embrace an entire new way of being.

The lesson of the butterfly is letting go of the old and embrace the new. They teach us to go with the flow, and not take life to seriously. These souls like the butterfly, guide us on a journey to freedom of the past, and lead us to our higher self.

What is Mediumship?

Mediumship is the ability to communicate with people who have passed on from this life to the next. Bridging the gap between the two worlds, spiritual medium's are able to open up their energy centers, Chakras. Simultaneously tuning into our natural sixth senses to send and receive message form those who have passed. Every living thing is made up of energy.  When we return to spirit form, our energy and personality stay the same. We simple shed our physical body, sending our bright, colorful light, our souls, to the spirit world. 

Communication with the spirit world takes time, practice, and patience. Every communication is different, as each medium and spirit, use their own individual personalities and life experiences to communicate. I like to describe it as tuning into a radio station. This unique form of communication allows spirit to work through a medium, and under there influence draws extremely accurate portraits of loved one's that have passed to spirit form. What to expect when receiving a spirit portrait?

The spirit world is highly intelligent. The messages and portraits that come through are for the greatest healing and intention of the person receiving.

It is not always clear, whom is being drawn. Many times It is unclear if they are male or female till half the drawing is done. They often present their younger self. Or present themselves during a favorite age or time in their life. Portraits often resemble a photo that you might own, including the outfit.
